We are a family that takes our 'ever-expanding' business, Advanced Cleaning Technologies, LLC, very seriously. We also take the fact that we hold the North American exclusive for manufacturing cleaning cloths from the revolutionary, patented MiraFiber® technology very seriously and are concerned by the reputation this technology may gain by those who offer seconds without disclosing the fact.

These days, it seems to be somewhat old fashioned, but we believe in running our business by the Golden Rule: to treat people as we would have them treat us. We also believe that if we help those who distribute our cloths meet their goals, we will meet ours.

Here's the 'short version' of what brought us to where we are today:

Four years ago, we fell in love with some simple little cleaning cloths we had purchased at our state fair. We were amazed at how beautifully they cleaned all the areas of our homes, vehicles & business and without the caustic chemicals and paper towels! Before the fair ended, we went back for more to share with our family members. (Doesn't everybody?)

We knew that everyone in America needed to have these unbelievable cloths for their homes and businesses. So we decided to sell them.

Within the first six months, our business was growing like crazy! We had distributors and fundraisers buying the cloths from us 2000 miles from where we live. We sent cloths to an individual at the embassy in Equador who had heard about them from friends!

As our business grew, so did our concerns. The cloths we were receiving from our supplier were increasingly inconsistent in thickness, size & cut. We would have seams running through them; chalk marks and even shoe prints mixed throughout. After only 9 months in the business, we had painstakingly pulled 16,000 cloths from our orders that were not to the standards we had set for our cloths with our customers. You can imagine what that did to our financial bottom line!

After long and tedious research, we found that the product we had been purchasing all along was seconds of a patented technology... it made the pieces of the puzzle fit, but it did nothing for our predicament. We now could buy straight from the 'seconds' supplier, but did not know where to get first quality goods.

At the time we felt we may be out of business, a miracle happened. We found the manufacturer of the technology that owned the patent. The crazy thing was that no one was buying the patented technology from them for the purposes of a cleaning/wiping cloth! We were subsequently able to form a strong relationship with the manufacture and acquired a North American exclusive to the technology for cleaning and wiping applications.

What this could mean to you:

Possibly nothing if you're happy with the cloths you have been purchasing. However, you will need to know that the 'seconds market' with this technology is drying up. Perhaps you've already experienced having to go to a thicker cloth... that, too, will be gone soon.
